Recruitment of Lawyers, Paralegals, and Administrative Personnel

Lee and Li recruits through job ads in newspapers or online, or job agencies by considering the applicant’s educational background, experience, and integrity as well as the recruiting department’s demands. After receiving an applicant’s resume and information, we will call the applicant for arranging a written test and an interview. An applicant may be exempt from the written test if he or she has practiced law for at least two years, is licensed to practice in Taiwan or a foreign jurisdiction, has passed the senior technical personnel exam held by the Examination Yuan, or holds a master’s degree in a relevant profession from a local or foreign institute of higher learning. An applicant may be exempt from the foreign language test if he or she is a lawyer or technician licensed to practice in an English-speaking jurisdiction, or has obtained a master’s degree in a relevant profession in an English-speaking country. Each recruit is subject to a five-month probation period, which may be extended for one month.

Successful Conclusion of the 2024 Interdepartmental Internship Qualification Test

Lee and Li’s 2024 interdepartmental internship qualification test has been successfully concluded. The list of recruited intern lawyers will be posted on Lee and Li’s website on January 19, 2024 (Friday). Those who pass the test will be hired on a contract basis for five months (excluding the time undergoing the new member training conducted by the Taiwan Bar Association). Each intern lawyer will be assigned a mentor lawyer. The mentor lawyer’s evaluation of the intern lawyer will be delivered to the Taiwan Bar Association. Intern lawyers who have performed exceptionally may be officially hired by Lee and Li if there are vacancies.
