After graduating from National Chengchi University, Ms. Lo joined the firm's Corporate and Investment Department. Ms. Lo’s practice focuses on corporate investment, competition law, labor law, and capital market cases, and she also provides legal services on regulatory compliance and contract review and drafting to clients from a wide range of industries.
Ms. Lo specializes in providing comprehensive legal advice to clients investing in Taiwan and operating in Taiwan, including, but not limited to, reviewing and drafting of various legal documents, regulatory compliance checks, and communications with competent authorities. Ms. Lo’s expertise also includes handling personnel issues such as employee recruitment, engagement and dismissal, design of human resources related rules, transfer of employees in the event of mergers and acquisitions, as well as representing clients in various consumer disputes and product liability litigation in e-commerce, high-tech, manufacturing and retail industries.
Ms. Lo has also assisted clients in filing domestic and foreign merger and acquisition transactions with the competent authority, dealing with cartel investigation and applying for leniency program, and advising clients on matters pertaining to competition laws. Ms. Lo is also experienced in handling cases involving in the application of investment permit/filing in China and has assisted several foreign enterprises in applying for initial public offerings in Taiwan’s securities exchange and over-the-counter market, as well as implementing capital increase and the issuance of domestic and overseas corporate bonds.
