Yi-Jiun is a partner at Lee and Li, Attorneys-at-Law. She has an abundance of experience in handling the various legal aspects of energy projects, real estate conveyancing and international engineering and construction works. She has represented developers, equity funds and contractors in matters involving investment in and development, construction and operation of IPPs and conveyancing of large scale real estate projects.
She holds the distinction of being the counsel for the first demonstration offshore wind farm project in Taiwan. She also assists various energy (conventional or renewable) project developers in all aspects of due diligence, share transfer and project agreements, including EPC contracts and O&M agreements.
Her work highlights in the energy sector include:
●She assisted a foreign leading bank in financing for the first onshore wind farm project in Taiwan and acts as the counsel for the first offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.
●She has been assisting domestic and international developers in developing offshore wind farm and solar projects in Taiwan.
●Since the government allocated 5.5GW installed capacity to the offshore wind farm projects in 2018, she has served as either the sponsors' or the lenders' counsel for multiple projects and assists in the project financings.
●She has advised on acquisitions and disposals of the shares in the project companies in the energy sector.
Yi-Jiun has long been recognized as a Leading Individual in the field of Real Estate and Project in Taiwan by Chambers Asia since 2008 and is recognized as the Distinguished Practitioner recommended for Construction in Taiwan in Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2021 Edition.
