Katherine Juang

Associate Partner

Katherine is an associate partner at the firm’s Patent and Technology Department and is a core member of the Patent Enforcement and Healthcare & Life Sciences practice groups.

Katherine has substantial experience in providing comprehensive legal services to clients from the health and life science sector. She has represented many multinational pharmaceutical companies in patent litigation, unfair competition claims, IP collaboration and licensing negotiations, patent term extension disputes, and reimbursement price related disputes, and she has been providing legal consultation on risk management and compliance regarding transactions and interaction with health care providers, data protection, promotional activities, and general code of conduct.

She has also represented hi-tech industry clients in various matters including the licensing, transfer, and enforcement of IP rights, unfair competition claims from competitors, and unfair competition investigations commenced by regulators.

For dispute resolution, she has represented government agencies in handling a number of landmark disputes over science park environmental impact assessments.
