Ray Wang is an attorney in Lee and Li's Corporate and Investment Department. His practice focuses on corporate investment and the energy industry, family succession planning and family law matters, as well as the handling of public law disputes. Ray previously served on the APAC Legal team of Ørsted, a Danish renewable energy company, where he participated in the bid preparation for the Phase 3 Zonal Development Auction for offshore wind projects in Taiwan. He has extensive experience in the offshore wind power industry and wrote his master's thesis on the planning of offshore wind farms. He also provides comprehensive legal analysis, drafts and reviews contracts, and conducts transaction structuring and due diligence for a wide range of energy projects, including onshore wind power, solar photovoltaic projects, and IPP thermal power plants.
Ray also has considerable experience in family succession matters, including cross-border estate tax filings, inheritance planning, dissolution and liquidation of family businesses, disposition of real property, and drafting of prenuptial agreements.
