李國榮 Benjamin K. J. Li
K.J. Li is a senior attorney in the Banking and Capital Market Department of Lee and Li. He graduated from National Taiwan University with double degrees of LL.B and B.S.Ec. He also received a Master of Laws degree from Soochow University (Taiwan). Before joining Lee and Li, he was an associate at Central Deposit Insurance Corporation and a lecturer at Soochow University School of Law (Taiwan).
Mr. Li advises financial institutions on regulatory compliance issues, applications and permits, syndicated loans and drafting and review of relevant transaction documents for relevant businesses. He also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, disposal of non-performing loans by financial institutions, IPOs and drafting bills. Mr. Li has been involved in the handling of several insolvent banks taken over by Taiwan government (such as The Chinese Bank, Bowa Bank, Asia Trust & Investment Corp. and Chinfon Bank), the investment in Gala Television Corporation by Formosa Plastics Group, the tender offer of Integrated Memory Logic Limited, a share swap transaction between Formosa Epitasy Incorporation and Epistar Corporation, the transfer of retail banking business from ANZ Taiwan to DBS Taiwan and the Taiwan IPO of Eson, Jinan Acetate and San Neng.
