David recently handled various cross-border transactions for PE funds, conglomerates and PRC investors, including:- CDIB Capital's privatization of Taiwan-listed Jintex Corporation- EnPro Industries, Inc.'s (NYSE:NPO) acquisition of LeanTeq- Taiwan-listed TSC Auto ID Technology's acquisition of U.S. Diversified Labeling Solutions- Restaurant Brands International's sale of Taiwan Burger King business to Nexus Point Capital- dormakaba's acquisition of the mechanical security business from Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE:SWK)
David has represented notable venture capital firms, including Alibaba, WI Harper and Taiwania Capital, to finance startups engaged in AI, IOT, blockchain, digital health, life science and travel tech businesses.
David also assisted regional and domestic sponsors to form private investment funds, including CDIB Capital Growth Partners L.P., Taiwania Capital Buffalo II Bioventures, LP., and JAFCO Taiwan I Venture Capital Limited Partnership.
David regularly advised food and healthcare companies, on issues of product registration, advertisement, competition, consumer protection, data protection, labor, anti-corruption, and more.
