Hung-yi has many years of patent application and writing experience. She specializes in assisting international high-tech companies and academic institutions in building global patent portfolios, including in the jurisdictions of the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and WIPO (PCT). Her major practice is focused in the areas of semiconductor device and electronic circuit. She has experience in a wide range of technologies including IC fabrication, optical device, memory devices, touch device, composition, electrode material, and biomaterial. She has assisted several leading high-tech companies, including NANYA, TSMC, and ROHM, in preparing and drafting international patent applications.
