Senior Patent Agent
Ko-Dee Gan received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Microbiology of Soochow University in Taiwan and master's degree from the Department of Microbiology of Clemson University in the U.S.A. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant and performed biological experiments for new drug development in DEVELOPMENT CENTER FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY. Later, he worked as a patent examiner in the Intellectual Property Office.
He was invited to provide pro bono consultation for the Intellectual Property Office from 2005 to 2018.
His main practice area includes patent document drafting, global filing and global prosecution for domestic and foreign clients as well as patent search. He handles the inventions majorly relating to the technical fields of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
