Roger Tsai

Senior Attorney

Roger Tsai, Ph. D. in international economic law from Peking University, is licensed to practice law in China and Taiwan. Roger has extensive experience in arbitration and litigation. His practice mainly focuses on government procurement, public construction, and commercial dispute resolution. He has represented clients in landmark dispute resolution cases, arbitration, civil and criminal litigation in public construction and government procurement, including high speed railway, MRT, highway, harbor, power plant, hospital and national defense procurement projects. He is also known for his extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution and is sought after by clients from industries of banking, retail, manufacture, logistic, and energy.

In addition, Roger specializes in intellectual property laws and information technology laws, and has advised international and domestic telecommunications companies, internet service providers and various government authorities.

Roger is also an expert in Chinese companies' cross border acquisition. Recently, he represented Chinese clients in bidding for Vertu Corporation in the UK, acquiring a wine company in South Africa, investing in a large construction project in Malaysia and establishing a joint venture with a bio-tech company in New York. With over 10 years of experience in law practice, Roger has served many multinational enterprises and Fortune 500 companies.
