Seminar Regarding The Labor Dispute Act
The Labor Dispute Act, promulgated on December 5, 2018 and scheduled to go into effective on January 1, 2020, aims to regulate the labor-management dispute resolution process and will have major impact on both employers and employees. To assist our clients in implementing proper HR processes and dispute resolution measures in response to and ahead of the new law, Lee and Li held a conference on January 11, 2019, where T. C. Chiang (Partner), Lawrence Yu (Partner), and Shih Ying-hong (Senior Associate) provided an overview of the Labor Dispute Act, talked about the issues of "HR and Dispute Resolution Measures in Response of the New Law" and the "Principles of Termination as the Last Resort", and had lively discussions with the conference participants.
