The United States is one of the most important markets for Taiwanese companies. Avoiding patent infringement in the U.S. and building up a U.S. patent portfolio are key issues for Taiwanese companies. For this conference, we therefore invite Mr. Scott Adams and Mr. Jack Chang of Davis Wright TremaineLLP to speak on the topics of "Strategic Avoidance of Patent Infringement and Its Effects in the United States" and "Recent Artificial Intelligence Developments Relating to Inventorship and Patent Eligibility in the United States." Michael Sun of Lee and Li Attorneys-at-Law will conclude the conferency by speaking on the topic of "Introduction to the PCT" to show how Taiwanese companies can use the PCT mechanism to build up their patent portfolios.
